He is a Partner and co-founder of the O’Neill Stetina Group and has played a principal role in more than $2 billion in real estate sales since relocating to Telluride in 2011. His professional foundation is distinguished by a rare combination of experience as a top-performing broker, seasoned developer, and real estate attorney.
His focus centers on high-end residential, commercial, and multi-unit single-family development projects, where he leverages over a decade of legal experience gained on Nantucket Island—one of the nation’s most complex and highly regulated real estate markets. While his legal practice specialized in real estate conveyancing, his expertise extends deeply into land use, zoning, planning, environmental, construction, and contract law. This multifaceted background affords him an exceptional ability to navigate the sophisticated requirements of high-net-worth and high-profile clients, a skill refined through years of work in both Nantucket and Telluride.
He has successfully co-managed the development, marketing, and sales of some of Telluride’s most iconic and successful projects, including Element 52, Bear Creek Reserve, Transfer Telluride, Cimarron Mountain Club, The Highline Residences, The Keep, and The Sages. He and his partners specialize in guiding development projects from site acquisition and assemblage through design coordination, municipal permitting, entitlement, vertical construction, and ultimate sale. In the highly nuanced arena of residential development—where mastery of local permitting processes is critical—this depth of experience proves invaluable.
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of The Hill School and earned an athletic scholarship to play Division I baseball in the Big East Conference at Villanova University, where he was twice named to the All-Conference Team. He and his wife, his college sweetheart, have raised their three children in Telluride.
Outside of real estate, he is a scratch golfer and an avid fly fisherman, embracing the outdoor lifestyle that defines the region he calls home.
