Upon graduating from Brown University in 1984, he began his career in real estate as a project planner for a prominent development firm in Boston. In 1989, what was intended to be a single winter of skiing in the San Juan Mountains became a turning point. Captivated by Telluride’s landscape, character, and community, he made the decision to stay and quickly immersed himself in the local real estate market—a commitment that would define the next chapter of his professional life.
Today, he brings more than three decades of experience across real estate and construction, with a career spanning residential, investment, development, and ranch properties, as well as extensive work with international buyers. His approach is grounded in insight, discretion, and precision, with a singular focus on delivering the highest level of professionalism and integrity while helping clients identify properties that truly align with their goals.
As one of only two local brokers selected for the exclusive sales team representing the Four Seasons Private Residences Telluride—the first five-star hotel and branded residential project in the town’s history—he continues to play a pivotal role in shaping Telluride’s evolving luxury landscape.
His affiliations with Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and Leverage Global Partners provide access to an elite international network, extending his reach well beyond the United States. His client base spans Bermuda, Australia, London, China, Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and beyond—offering unparalleled exposure in the global luxury marketplace.
Deeply committed to the Telluride community, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Telluride Foundation, the region’s leading philanthropic organization supporting both donors and essential service providers.
An avid outdoorsman, his passion for exploration began in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and along the shores of Cape Cod. Following a brief pause while playing football at Brown, his pursuits became truly global—guiding ski expeditions across the Andes, Kamchatka, the Caucasus, the Alps, Alaska, and Antarctica, and surfing everywhere from Bali and Uruguay to Hawaii, Costa Rica, and throughout Central America. While skiing remains his greatest passion—including past experience heli-ski guiding in Alaska and Telluride—his most rewarding adventure today is closer to home: keeping pace with his two young sons, Quinn and Grayden.
